Covid infections in the state of New South Wales have jumped again over night, recording 44 new locally acquired cases, with 27 of them moving around in the community while infectious.
It's the highest number since the Sydney outbreak began on June 16.

The White House COVID response team is warning that the Delta variant is a threat to young people, and any others who have not been vaccinated.
