ECOWAS Court Stops Nigerian Government From Sanctioning, Prosecuting Users

The Nigerian government has been restrained by an ECOWAS court from prosecuting its citizens using Twitter.

  

It earlier in the month suspended operations of the social media platform in the country and further threatened to place sanctions on violators.

DRC LEADERS SEIZE GOLD

Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo have seized 31 kilograms of gold from smugglers in the northeast of the country.
