Court begins extremism hearings against Navalny groups

A Moscow court has suspended the activities of groups linked to Alexey Navalny pending a lawsuit aimed at labelling them "extremists". Hearings began on Monday behind closed doors due to what the court says is the involvement of state secrets. Julia Chapman has more.

France loosens restrictions as primary schools reopen after Covid-19 closure

The first easing of the French government's Covid-19 "supplementary braking measures" imposed in March is taking place on Monday as primary schoolchildren return to the classrooms.

All schools were closed for three weeks to try to control the third wave of coronavirus infections.

UK GOVERNMENT ROCKED BY 'SLEAZE' CLAIMS
