Tsai Ing-wen Warns China is Threatening Regional Stability

Taiwan's President Tsia Ing-wen said on Thursday that the Chinese military's activities have threatened regional peace and stability.

She was speaking with a visiting delegation of former US officials there to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Taiwan relations act.

Hong Kong marks its first National Security Education Day

The Hong Kong government is holding a series of events to mark the city's first ever National Security Education Day. It says the activities are designed to improve children's sense of national identity. But critics say it's part of a propaganda campaign to curb dissent among young people.

Daunte Wright: Officer charged with second-degree manslaughter

Third night of protests in Minnesota over police killing of Daunte Wright

US Senate weighs Asian American hate crime bill

Final UK troops expected to leave Afghanistan this year

The last of the British troops in Afghanistan are set to pull out of the country by September 11th, the same date that US forces have announced they'll be leaving.


The UK military has been in Afghanistan since 2001, and about 750 troops still remain in the region.

UK TO EXPAND VACCINE MIXING TRIAL

British scientists examining whether it's safe to mix Covid vaccines across the two doses - are expanding their trial.

The University of Oxford's been looking at the impact of combining Pfizer and AstraZeneca jabs on the immune system.
