South African health authorities are pausing the rollout of Johnson & Johnson vaccines until further notice. There have been no reports of blood clots in local recipients of the vaccine, but fewer than 300 thousand doses have been administered in the country so far. With another 1 million Johnson & Johnson doses expected next week, officials are hopeful that the current pause in rollout will not last longer than a few days. Mark Roughton has details.
