US pledges to join WHO COVAX facility

The US government under President Joe Biden intends to join the COVAX vaccine facility that aims to deliver vaccines to poor countries. 

The pledge came from the President's chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci, addressing the World Health Organisation in Geneva.

Ghana's Supreme Court sets January 26 to hear 2020 presidential election petition


Ghana's Supreme Court has set Tuesday, January 26 to hear an election petition filed by the opposition political party, National Democratic Congress. The presidential candidate of the opposition party, John Mahama wants the court to overturn the EC's results of the 2020 presidential polls, which declared incumbent Nana Akufo Addo as winner.

French president says "welcome back" as Joe Biden rejoins Paris Climate Agreement

The new US president Joe Biden says he will seek to rejoin the Paris climate agreement to limit global warming that was signed in 2015.

UK CONSIDERS HOTEL QUARANTINE
