French president says "welcome back" as Joe Biden rejoins Paris Climate Agreement

The new US president Joe Biden says he will seek to rejoin the Paris climate agreement to limit global warming that was signed in 2015.

In November last year, former US president Donald Trump pulled out of the landmark international accord saying the deal was not in America's best interests.

UK CONSIDERS HOTEL QUARANTINE

The UK is considering introducing hotel quarantine for international arrivals amid concern about covid-19 variants circulating worldwide.

Australia - Catholic Church makes record payout to abuse victim
