Speculation is growing over the whereabouts of Chinese billionaire Jack Ma following.

It comes as his business empire faces scrutiny from authorities following a controversial speech Ma made late in October.

New York reports first case of highly contagious Covid-19 strain

New York has confirmed its first case of a highly contagious strain of
Covid-19 that was discovered in the United Kingdom. It's now the
fourth U.S. state to do so.

Last month New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo pushed for tougher travel
restrictions from the UK and for labs to ramp up testing for this new
virus variant.

1st case of UK Covid Variant confirmed in New York

The first case of the new covid-19 variant identified in the UK has been found in New York.

 

Governor Andrew Cuomo said a man in his 60s in Saratoga County had tested positive for the strain.

COVID-19 lockdown announced in England

Chinese foreign minister on two-day state visit to Nigeria


The Chinese State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs is in Nigeria on a two-day working visit between Monday and Tuesday.

World's first Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine administered in UK

The UK has begun the roll out of its first set of vaccinations produced by Oxford University and AstraZeneca.


It's the first time the vaccine has been approved for use worldwide and is the second vaccination to be approved in the UK.


Despite the introduction of the new vaccine the virus continues to spread at an alarming rate with over 50,000 people in the UK testing positive in the last 24 hours.

RUSSIA CALLS US SANCTIONS AGAINST NORD STREAM 2 "PROTECTIONISM"

Russia's Deputy Prime Minister, Alexander Novak, is calling US sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 pipeline "protectionism".

As the new year began, the new rules came into force, giving companies until the end of January to stop working on the project.
