WHO warns against herd immunity as Europe sees second wave

The World Health Organization has shut down the idea of allowing Covid-19 to spread to achieve herd immunity. 

The body said the idea was "scientifically and ethically problematic." 

The warning comes as case numbers rise across Europe, to similar levels seen at the start of the pandemic in March.

German health minister gives prediction on vaccine availability

Fresh fighting erodes Azeri-Armenian truce
