US Supreme Court back in session with Obamacare challenge looming


The US Supreme Court is back in session with a new challenge to Barack Obama's signature healthcare legislation - known as Obamacare - on the docket.

For now, only eight justices will be hearing cases after the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg last month.

Belgium reports an average 2,100 coronavirus cases per day

Belgium is reporting an average of 2,100 daily coronavirus cases over the last week, an increase of 32%. 

On Wednesday a peak of 3000 cases in a single day was recorded. 

Many hospitals have reported that their beds for coronavirus patients are full.

16,000 COVID-19 cases in UK missed due to IT error

The UK's health agency, Public Health England, says a "technical issue" means nearly 16,000 positive coronavirus cases weren't registered in the final week of September. 


The files, containing the test data from labs, exceeded the maximum size which could be loaded onto its IT system, meaning the reporting of those results were delayed.

Germany calls for Brexit deal

Azerbaijan's president vows to take back Nagorno-Karabakh

India crosses 6.63 million COVID 19 cases

COVID-19 cases in India continue to rise at a fast pace as the country moves into the fifth phase of reopening the economy.

The country added 74,000 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the country's total caseload to over 6.63 million.

UK MISSES 16 000 COVID CASES

UK officials say an IT glitch has been resolved that meant nearly 16 000 positive covid-19 test results were missed.

Between 25th September and 2nd October, 15, 841 cases were not included in daily UK figures.

The error means people in close contact with confirmed cases were not immediately contacted by the country's track and trace system.

The opposition Labour Party says it is 'shambolic'.

Doctors who admit to misleading public on Saturday, now claim Trump may return to White House on Monday

The White House doctor who now admits he misled the public on Saturday  about President Trump's medical condition says that the President could be discharged from hospital as early as Monday.
