U.S. Postal Chief testifies before Congress

A political row over how Americans will vote in November's
presidential election escalated on Friday, after the country's postal

GHANA-NIGERIA Trade dispute resurfaces as Ghana government locks up foreign owned shops

In Ghana, hundreds of Nigerian traders are protesting against the closure of their shops in the capital Accra.

The government has shut down over 100 stores run by Nigerians while enforcing a law which bars foreigners from engaging in the retail trade.

But the Nigerian traders claim the action goes against the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) protocol that allows them to trade in Ghana.

Uganda to Lock down its Capital Over Rising COVID-19 Cases

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, says he's "disappointed" after little progress was made in the latest round of negotiations.


The EU and UK are trying to forge a new trade deal with each other.

That all changes at the end of the year when the so-called "transition period" ends. And both sides say they want to arrange a deal well before that deadline.
