Consumer spending in focus on Wall Street in the week ahead [PREVIEW]

Traders on Wall Street this week will be eagerly awaiting the release
of consumer spending data.

It's a key driver of the U.S. economy but some analysts fear a recent
resurgence in Covid-19 cases and the expiration of an unemployment
benefit program may have hurt America's appetite for shopping.
