HEATHROW AIRPORT CALLS FOR COVID-19 TESTING

The boss of London's Heathrow airport is calling for coronavirus testing as a way to avoid quarantining returning travellers.

The UK has a list of countries for which travellers will need to quarantine for 14 days upon their return.

But the UK's culture secretary is not convinced it's a solution.

Wanted US Fugitive Arrested in Kenya

Kenyan security have arrested a 60year old man who's been on a wanted fugitive list in the United States.

Mr Mansur Surur who is Kenyan citizen is wanted for his involvement in drug trafficking and participating in the illegal trade of rhino horns and elephant ivory.

India Floods: More than 8 million people displaced or affected

More than a hundred people have died and around 8 million people have been affected or displaced by heavy rains and floods in the Indian states of Assam and Bihar.

57% of Mumbai's slum residents may have been exposed to COVID19

A serological survey conducted in Mumbai has found that one in four people in the city could have been exposed to the coronavirus.

The survey found that COVID19 is far more widespread in slums where social distancing is tough- with 57% of slum residents showing antibodies for COVID19.

Korea auto import group suspends chairman as anger grows over sex abuse claims

South Korea's largest imported auto association has suspended its chairman over allegations of sexual abuse. The Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association said pending an investigation, it may take further action against Pablo Rosso, who is the head of the Korea division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

China Reports 101 New Coronavirus Cases


Newly reported cases of coronavirus infections in China have topped 100 for the first time in over three and a half months.

The vast majority of them were domestic cases reported in the western region of Xinjiang.

Trump Administration halts new DACA applications

The Trump administration said it won't allow new applicants to an Obama-era program that protects immigrants, who came to the US as children, from being deported.

It comes after a court ruling last month blocked 
President Donald Trump's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

India woman petitions Prime Minister Modi to get men to do more chores

An Indian woman's petition demanding the Indian Prime Minister ask the men of the country to share the burden of unpaid care work at home has received more than 70,000 signatures.

Before the lockdown, Indian women did ten times more unpaid work every day. Studies have shown that since the pandemic started more than four months ago, the unpaid work done by women at home has increased significantly.

China Records Highest Daily Tally of Covid-19 Cases Since April
