UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is to hold talks with with EU Commission President Ursula von Der Leyen next week. 

The talks are to try and breathe life into the deadlocked Brexit talks.

UK GDP SLUMPS MOST ON RECORD

UK GDP slumped by 20.4% in April according to new figures - by far the biggest monthly fall on record.

The ONS data comes from the first full month of lockdown restrictions in the UK.

Over the three months from February to April, output declined 10.4%.

The statistics show almost every area of the UK economy was hit hard by the Covid-19 lockdown.

India home to fourth largest COVID19 outbreak globally

India recorded another big surge in COVID19 cases on Thursday- with daily cases crossing the 10,000 mark for the first time.

ZOOM SAYS BEIJING TOLD IT TO SHUT DOWN ACCOUNTS

Ethiopia extends Prime Minister's Term

UK SAYS HONG KONG MUST TACKLE UNREST WITHOUT CHINESE INTERFERENCE

UK Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, says Hong Kong should solve its issues surrounding the continued protests, and that Beijing should not interfere.
