UK SAYS HONG KONG MUST TACKLE UNREST WITHOUT CHINESE INTERFERENCE

UK Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, says Hong Kong should solve its issues surrounding the continued protests, and that Beijing should not interfere.

The protests began over a national security law which increases China's influence in Hong Kong.

But the UK, with Australia, Canada and the US, wants China to reconsider the law, saying it violates the agreement signed when the UK handed over the territory in 1997.
