India plans grand welcome for Trump

Donald Trump will be in India next week and Indian authorities are readying the red carpet for the US President's first visit.

Mr. Trump will only be in India for just over 36 hours but the Indian government has packed in a visit to three cities and a grand welcome in Prime Minister Modi's hometown of Ahmedabad.

NYC mayor Bloomberg faces Democrat rival attacks

The knives were out for former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg

Former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has been the target of

Harry and Meghan to stop being senior royals at end of March

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have revealed a list of their final public engagements as full royals. 


The couple will take part in at least six more engagements before they officially step back from senior royal duties on 31st March, after which a 12-month transition period will come into effect.

Debris found in troubled 737 Max jets

New post-immigration plans unveiled by UK government

Low-skilled workers will not receive visas under post-Brexit immigration plans unveiled by the UK government.


Employers are being urged to "move away" from relying on "cheap labour" from the European Union and instead invest in retaining staff or developing automation technology.


But the UK's opposition parties say the new rules would create a "hostile environment" that makes it hard to attract workers.

World Bank approves $2.2 billion loan for Nigeria


The World Bank has approved about $2.2 billion loan for Nigeria to invest in several projects that will develop the country's economy and improve the standard of living of its citizens.

WFP Expresses Fear Over Decreasing Food Stocks For Refugees in Uganda

PASSENGERS LEAVE DIAMOND PRINCESS

Passengers have been disembarking the Diamond Princess cruise ship that has been quarantined in Japan for more than a fortnight.
