Trump lifts Turkey sanctions, says ceasefire "permanent"
against Turkey after Ankara confirmed its ceasefire in northern Syria
is "permanent".
He described it as a "great outcome" despite criticism his decision to
remove US troops from the region green lit Turkey's offensive which
started two weeks ago.

Syrian refugee arrivals to Iraq pass 7,000 mark in seven days - UN
