Refugees in Uganda are Food Insecure - World Bank Report

The report titled Informing the Refugee Policy Response says 7 out of 10 refugee households are food insecure.

UK MAKES BREXIT 'FINAL OFFER' TO EU

Germany, France Welcome Ukraine Agreement

The Ukrainian government has signed an agreement with pro-Russian separatists, designed to allow local elections in disputed territories in the east of the country.

German foreign minister Heiko Maas and French president Emmanuel Macon welcomed the news, saying the door is open for another high level summit aimed at resolving the long standing conflict, which has killed more than thirteen thousand people since twenty fourteen.

Russia detains more North Korean poachers

In what is the fourth such round-up of illegal fishermen in the Sea of Japan in recent weeks, Russia's Federal Security Service has confirmed that it has detained 64 North Korean poachers.

The detentions have sparked a rare confrontation between North Korea and Russia, which sees itself as an ally of Pyongyang.

Two Dead Following Landmark Taiwan Bridge Collapse

Court Upholds Net Neutrality Repeal

A US appeals court has ruled the Federal Communications Commission acted lawfully when it scrapped the governments net neutrality rules in 2017.

Ukraine and Russia agree to begin disengagement in Donbass

At the trilateral contact group meeting held in Minsk on Tuesday, Ukraine and Russia have agreed to sign a pact that will pave the way for disengagement of troops in the disputed Donbass region.

Both sides have agreed to ratify the Steinmeier formula- proposed by former German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier- that proposes a ceasefire in the region and a withdrawal of troops followed by local elections.
