BORIS JOHNSON 'TO REVEAL DETAILED BREXIT PLANS'

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to start revealing detailed Brexit proposals to EU leaders over the next 24 hours.

The UK government will then send legal texts to the European Union later this week in the hope of reaching a deal.

However, leaked proposals to create 'customs clearance zones' close to the Irish border have already been rejected by Dublin.

Boris Johnson insists the leaks do not represent Britain's upcoming proposals accurately.

But the Telegraph's Brexit correspondent Peter Foster says they're causing concern in Ireland.

Report: Trump asked Australian PM to help probe into Mueller investigation

The New York Times is reporting that President Trump asked the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to help investigate the origins of Robert Mueller's inquiry into ties between the Trump campaign and the Russians.


A transcript of a recent telephone conversation between the two leaders is reported to have been classified at an unusually high level by the US government.

US sanctions Russians over 2018 midterm elections interference

The Trump administration has imposed new sanctions on Russia over attempts to interfere in the 2018 US mid-term elections.

They apply to four entities and seven individuals, including Yevgeniy Prigozhin, the Russian financier behind so-called "troll farm", the Internet Research Agency.

The U.S. intelligence community says it also conducted the Russian government's disinformation campaign in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Volkswagen faces historic German lawsuit over ‘dieselgate’

In Germany, a court case opened Monday, pitting 450,000 Volkswagen owners against the carmaker over its rigging of diesel emissions - the largest-ever case of its kind in Germany.

Anti-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) campaigners in Ghana are criticizing the government's introduction of Comprehensive Sexual Education in public schools. SAUDI CROWN PRINCE ISSUES IRAN WARNING

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman says oil prices will soar if the world doesn't take action to deter Iran.

The warning follows an attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities two weeks ago which Tehran denies it was responsible for.
