Bangladeshi migrant workers deported from Saudi Arabia

Bangladesh's Embassy in Saudi Arabia is under fire for failing to take care of migrant workers following a crackdown on undocumented workers there.

175 Bangladeshi nationals arrived back in Dhaka on Sunday after they were deported from the kingdom.

But reports say more than a thousand are still being held at a detention camp in Riyadh.

Russia may hike security at oil facilities post Saudi attacks


In the aftermath of the drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities, the Russian government says it could increase security at domestic oil units.

A co-ordinated drone attack on Saturday hit nearly half of Saudi Arabia's oil production capacity.

Opioid maker Purdue files for bankruptcy

The maker of prescription opioid OxyContin has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Juncker “always optimistic” about Brexit deal prospect

European Commission president Jean Claude Juncker said he remained "optimistic" about the possibility of a Brexit deal, ahead of talks with the UK prime minister Boris Johnson.

Modi calls Trump's participation in diaspora event "special gesture"

The UK government insists progress is being made towards a deal and that it won't extend Brexit beyond October 31st.

But EU negotiators say they've not yet seen detailed proposals from the UK on how to avoid a hard Irish border.

US SAYS INTEL SHOWS IRAN'S INVOLVEMENT IN SAUDI STRIKES

The United States says it has intelligence and data to back up its allegation that Iran carried out air attacks on Saudi oil facilities.

It's also released satellite images which it says suggest Tehran's involvement rather than the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels in Yemen who initially claimed the strikes.

Iran has denied being behind the attacks on facilities at Abqaiq and Khuarais which caused a spike in global oil prices.

Oil analyst Daniel Lacalle says the situation should be normalised within days if there are no further escalations.

Delhi Plans to Implement Odd-Even for the Third Time

Delhi is one of the world's most polluted cities - and in attempt to clean up the air, the government will temporarily only allow cars on the streets every other day.
