US PRESIDENT 'LEARNS MUCH' FROM RUSSIAN ROCKET INCIDENT

The US president says the country is learning a lot from the recent deadly accident at a military testing range in Russia.

Five specialists were killed in a rocket explosion while they were working on a ship in a region in the far north-west of the country.

US Attorney General criticises Epstein prison

US Attorney General William Barr has criticised "serious irregularities" at the jail where the alleged sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was found dead on Saturday.

The New York Times reports one of the two people guarding Mr Epstein was not a full-fledged officer, and neither guard checked on Epstein's cell for several hours before he was discovered.

Trump Tightens Regulations for Immigrants on Benefits

Immigrants who are legally living in the United States but use government benefits such as Medicaid, housing support or food stamps will soon face tougher restrictions on their path to US citizenship.

The policy announced on Monday is part of the Trump administration's efforts to reduce immigration figures.

Ethiopia works to get release of its nationals in S. Africa

French minister calls for Jeffrey Epstein investigation

France's gender equality minister is demanding an investigation into the activities of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in France.

It's alleged that he has links to people and property in France.

Mr Epstein took his own life on Saturday whilst on pre-trial detention in the US leaving many questions unanswered.
