DRC Mine Accident Kills 36

INTRO:

Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the Democratic Republic of Congo to find survivors of an accident in which 36 miners are reported to have died in a copper mine in the southeast of the country.

Authorities say the victims were illegal miners who were operating in a mine owned by British-Swiss mining giant Glencore.

Modi-Trump meet at the sidelines of G20 summit, agree to resolve trade stand-off

A day after attacking India over it's high tariffs, US President Donald Trump met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the sidelines of the G20 summit.

Twitter to Hide Rule-Breaking Tweets from Politicians

Twitter has introduced a new policy to hide the tweets of politicians who break the platform's rules. Twitter has been criticised for letting politicians break its rules prohibiting harassment and other hateful conduct, in the name of newsworthiness.

Supreme Court blocks 2020 census citizenship question

One in three children in India will be stunted by 2022, report says

Trump blames Democrats for drowning death of two migrants in Rio Grande river
