UN Special Investigator says Khashoggi death is "State killing," calls for international criminal probe

A United Nations special investigator has found that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was a victim of premeditated, extrajudicial execution, for which Saudi Arabia is responsible. 


Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard has called for an international investigation into high-level Saudi officials who may have been involved.

IGAD meets on Sudan

Five Candidates Remain in Race For UK Conservative Party Leadership

In the second round of voting for a new UK Conservative party leader to replace outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May, the six candidates on the ballot have been reduced to five.


Former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab is out of the race, while Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson leads with 126 votes.
