There are now 11 candidates in the race to be leader of the UK's Conservative Party - and therefore Prime Minister.

Brexit minister James Cleverly is the latest to put his hat in the ring.

He says the EU needs to show flexibility on Brexit and that he'd prefer to leave the bloc with a deal in place.

Nominations for the contest close in the second week of June, with former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson current favorite.

Fellow contender Rory Stewart says seeking a Brexit deal has to be the priority.

14 killed in India after consuming spurious liquor

In the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh at least 14 people have died after consuming spurious liquor. 

The government has ordered a probe.
