Death toll rises in Indian state of Odisha from Cyclone Fani

The state of Odisha in India has confirmed that there were 21 more deaths due to Cyclone Fani (PRON: FORNI) which hit the coast of ten days ago with wind speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour. 

This brings the death toll in the state up to 64. Millions of people are still without power and water,

India's penultimate phase of polling as elections draw to a close.

The sixth phase of polling in India has 59 constituencies across six states and the national capital voting.

In the last general election in 2014, Prime Minister Modi's ruling Bhartiya Janata Party had won 45 of these seats. 

The last phase of polling will take place on May 19, with votes counted on May 23.

Anti-Boko Haram militia in Nigeria releases nearly 900 children - Unicef
