Britain's Prince Philip is recovering after a car crash near the Queen's Sandringham estate.

It happened on a stretch of road where the speed limit is set to be reduced because of a series of accidents.

Report: Trump instructed former lawyer to lie to Congress over Russia business dealings

President Trump's is being accused of personally instructing his former lawyer to lie to Congress about the Trump Organization's business dealings in Russia.

MODEL WHO CLAIMED RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE IN US ELECTION ARRESTED IN MOSCOW

A Belarusian model who claimed to have evidence of Russian interference in the US election has been arrested in Moscow. Anastasia Vashukevich was detained at an airport on her arrival from Thailand, where she has been in prison for almost a year. Moscow Correspondent Lucy Taylor reports.

Group condemns N. Korea for human rights crimes


In its annual report, an international human rights group has said North Korea remains one of the world's most repressive states. This comes as the U.S. and North Korea are believed to be preparing for talks in Washington this week.

Human Rights Watch said that summits between Kim Jong-un and the leaders of the U.S. and South Korea have failed to address widespread human rights abuses.

The group said foreign governments should not forget Pyongyang uses torture, executions and sexual violence, among other abuses, to control its people with fear.

During nuclear talks, presidents Donald Trump and Moon Jae-in avoided the topic of rights with Kim.

A top North Korean official is reportedly in Washington this week for talks about a second Kim-Trump summit.

White House cancels Davos trip over shutdown

The White House has cancelled its delegation's trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, citing the US government shutdown.

President Trump previously cancelled his trip. The US delegation would have included Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Trump Cancels Pelosi's Trip Abroad

US President Donald Trump has postponed a trip abroad planned by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. 

This comes one day after Speaker Pelosi asked President Trump to postpone his State of the Union address because of the US government shutdown.

Russia's President Putin in Serbia
