Mueller questions for Trump 'focus on obstruction of justice'

Special Counsel Robert Mueller wants to ask President Trump about contact between his campaign team and Russia and determine whether he obstructed justice.

The New York Times reports Mr Mueller has at least four dozen questions he wants to put to the US President. Donald Trump denies his campaign sought to collude with Russia.

130,000 people demonstrate at Moscow Labor Day march

Scotland introduces minimum prices for alcohol

A new law in Scotland banning the sale of strong, ultra-cheap alcohol has come into force.

Lords imposes defeat on UK government over Brexit as war Cabinet prepares to meet

EU Wants Permanent US Tariff Exemption

Indian government allows private company to manage Red Fort operations

In a first, the Indian government has allowed a private conglomerate to manage the operations of the iconic Red Fort.

The monument was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The world heritage site is also where the Indian Prime Minister addresses the nation from, every Independence Day.

U.S. delay decision on steel/aluminium tariffs

The United States has extended negotiations with the European Union, Canada and Mexico over steel and aluminium tariffs.

In March the Trump Administration placed a global 25% tariff on U.S. imports of steel and a 10% tariff on aluminium describing current trade practices as a threat to national security. 

Nations around the world have been negotiating with the U.S. to be made exempt from the decision.

Canada, the EU and Mexico now have until June 1st to reach a deal with the U.S.

US president Donald Trump's alleged disparaging of African countries did not come up when he held talks with Nigeria's President Buhari - according to both leaders.

But Trump did not deny he had used a derogatory term.

Security and the economy were both high on the agenda when Buhari became the first sub-Saharan African leader to visit the White House in the 15 months since trump came to power.

Israel says Iran hid nuclear arms programme - Trump say situation is "not acceptable"

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed what he says are "secret nuclear files" proving Iran once covertly pursued nuclear weapons.

US president Donald Trump says the situation is "not acceptable".

Iran agreed in 2015 to curb its nuclear energy programme in return for the lifting of sanctions, a deal US President Donald Trump has long threatened to scrap.

Afghan bombers target journalists

More than 30 people - including at least 9 journalists - have been killed in two coordinated bombings in the Afghan capital Kabul.

In a separate incident 11 children died when a suicide bomber targeted Nato troops.

Telegram messenger supporters rally in Moscow in support of popular app

UK supermarket chains Sainsbury's & Asda to merge

Britain's second and third-largest supermarket chains have announced plans to merge.
