Man Charged After Van Driver Kills 10 in Toronto

A Canadian man has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder after driving onto a  sidewalk in Toronto on Monday. 

It's unclear what may have motivated the 25-year-old, named as Alek Minassian.

French billionaire questioned over African corruption claims

French billionaire Vincent BollorĂ©, head of the Vivendi conglomerate, is being held for questioning in Paris over accusations his firm paid off public officials in exchange for contracts in Togo and Guinea. 

The contracts, for building container terminals, were signed in 2010.

Prominent Indian choreographer defends sexual harassment

A three time-time National Award winning choreographer in India has openly defend sexual harassment in the Indian film industry. 

She's said that there's nothing new with an aspiring actress being asked for sexual favours in exchange for work and that any kind of sexual harassment takes place with a woman's consent.

The comments come in the backdrop of the #MeToo movement, that has seen women from across different walks of lives, calling out their harassers.

New Royal Prince welcomed with gun salute

10 dead after van attack in Toronto


Police in Canada are continuing to question a man who drove a van at pedestrians in the city of Toronto, killing 10 people and injuring 15 others. 


Officials say the targeting of pedestrians appeared to be deliberate but so far the motive for the attack is unclear.

WH: No plans to lift sanctions over North Korea

The White House says the U.S. will continue its campaign of maximum pressure against North Korea despite reports the regime is considering a path to denuclearisation.

Last week, Kim Jong Un announced his country would no longer test nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles  - a move Trump described

The response from the Trump administration comes with plans underway for the U.S. President to meet his North Korea counterpart in the coming weeks.

Unarmed man who took down Nashville shooter speaks out

It's a boy: Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to son
