WH: No plans to lift sanctions over North Korea

The White House says the U.S. will continue its campaign of maximum pressure against North Korea despite reports the regime is considering a path to denuclearisation.

Last week, Kim Jong Un announced his country would no longer test nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles  - a move Trump described

The response from the Trump administration comes with plans underway for the U.S. President to meet his North Korea counterpart in the coming weeks.

Speaking on Monday, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders  was asked if Donald Trump would accept anything less than total denuclearisation on the Korean peninsula....
