US imposes sanctions on Russia over election meddling

The United States government has imposed sanctions on 19 Russian
individuals and 5 groups over allegations of meddling in the 2016 US
Presidential election.

It's the strongest response yet to Russia's alleged cyber attacks.

UN accuses Mexico of torture, killings cover-up

The United Nations has accused the Mexican government of torture and covering up the disappearance of 43 students.

UK-RUSSIA RELATIONS WORSEN

The UK's Defence Secretary has told Russia to 'shut up' over the attack on a former spy in Britain.

Moscow says it's preparing a response after the UK expelled 23 diplomats following the use of a nerve agent on British soil.

Russia denies any involvement in the attack on Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury on March 4th, but it's caused an escalating diplomatic crisis.

UK open to shorter Brexit transition period

Ethiopia appeals for urgent humanitarian assistance

India moves to make healthcare more affordable

India is trying to make essential diagnostic tests free of cost at public hospitals.

The country's Health Ministry is currently in the process of compiling a list of diseases and infections that would fall under the purview of essential lab tests.

According to the WHO, most of the healthcare expenditure in India comes from a private individual's pocket and the cost of private healthcare in India is about four times greater than public healthcare.

Thousands of students walk out of classes to call for gun control

Thousands of students across the U.S. walked out of their classes on Thursday, calling for stricter gun control.

The protest was sparked by the recent school shooting in Florida that left 17 people dead.
