EU ministers meeting to sign off on directives for next round of Brexit talks

European Union ministers are set to sign off on a set of guidelines for the next stage of negotiations with the UK on brexit.

Talks are now moving on to a potential transitional agreement to ease process of leaving and on the future trade deal between Britain and the EU.

UK'S BREXIT LEGISLATION 'CONSTITUTIONALLY UNACCEPTABLE'

The UK government's flagship Brexit legislation is 'fundamentally flawed' and 'constitutionally unacceptable' according to an influential committee of peers.

The Lords Constitutional Committee has delivered its verdict on the EU (Withdrawal) Bill before the legislation is debated by the House of Lords for the first time on Tuesday.

The bill will end the supremacy of EU law, copying it into UK legislation, to ensure a smooth transition out of the bloc.

Trump Softens "America First" For Davos Global Elites

Donald Trump is returning to Washington following a successful trip to the World Economic Forum.

Reports: Trump attempted to fire Mueller last June

The White House is refusing to comment on reports that President Trump tried to fire the Special Prosecutor investigating ties between his election campaign team and the Russians.


The attempt was reportedly made last June, and only headed off when the top legal official at the White House threatened to resign.

According to the New York Times President Donald Trump ordered the
firing of Special Council Robert Mueller- the man heading the
investigation into alleged Russian interference in U.S. politics.

Citing four unnamed sources, the paper states that the President
backtracked after the White House council threatened to resign.

White House unveils immigration plan

The White House has laid out an immigration plan that could include a
path to citizenship for 1.8 million young immigrants.

The bill is expected to be unveiled Monday and comes despite President
Trump's decision last year to cancel the Obama-era program that

Dutch Report Their Intel Alerted US to Russian Hacking

Dutch intelligence services were the first to alert the United States about Russian hacking by the Cozy Bear network, according to media in the Netherlands.

The reports say that along with servers of the Democratic National Committee, they also uncovered Russian intrusions into the US State Department and the White House.
