PROTESTS OVER UK RAIL FARE INCREASES

Protests are being held at dozens of UK train stations over increases in rail ticket prices.

Average fares are going up 3.4% in Britain which means many commuter season tickets will be over £100 (112 euro / $135) more expensive.

Rail companies insist the prices are going up in line with inflation and will allow better services and increased investment.

But campaigners say with many season tickets costing well over £5000 a year - commuters are being 'priced out' of going to work.

And these commuters at Milton Keynes say it's not fair.
