Concert-goers flee gunfire at Las Vegas concert

Thousands of concert-goers tried to flee a shooter firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.

Over 50 are confirmed dead, with the injured list jumping to over 400 and casualty numbers expected to rise.

Rebecca Ashvia filmed the panic as people tried to hide from the bullets.

Suspect in Las Vegas shooting killed himself

The suspect in the Las Vegas shooting which has left more than 400 injured and over 500 dead killed himself before law enforcement reached his room.

Stephen Paddock appeared to be firing from a hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel in the middle of the famed Las Vegas strip.

Over 400 injured in Las Vegas mass shooting

Nevada officials have confirmed, the number of injured has risen to over 400, with more than 50 killed at a music festival in Las Vegas.

The numbers are expected to change as law enforcement continues to scour the area by the Mandalay Bay hotel on the strip, making sure everyone has been found.

Worst mass shooting in modern US history leaves more than 50 dead in Vegas

Police say the shooting in Las Vegas is the worst incident of mass gun violence in modern American history with more than 50 people killed and at least 200 injured.


The attack took place during a country music festival, and the shooter  - 64 year-old Stephen Paddock - was killed by police.

EU responds to police violence in Catalonia with expression of support for Spanish government

The European Union has come out in support of the Spanish government despite police violence against voters in the Catalonia independence referendum.

Over 800 people were injured with videos of Spanish police beating voters having been widely spread on social media over the weekend.

Indian man beaten to death for attending a cultural event

A man belonging to the Dalit community was beaten to death by a mob in the Indian state of Gujarat. 8 people have been arrested.

In India, two thirds of the Dalit community qualifies as the poorest of the poor. In the last few months, there have been several attacks against Dalits by right wing groups.

At least fifty people are dead and more than two hundred injured after a mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert.

Police say a gunman, named as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel before being killed by officers.

Brother of al Qaeda-inspired killer goes on trial in Paris

The trial has opened in Paris of the brother of Mohammed Merah, who killed seven people in a series of gun attacks in the Toulouse area in March 2012.  
The case was the first incident of jihadist inspired terrorism in France in the 21st century, and proved to be the beginning of a wave of violence that has since killed over 300 people across the country, with another two women dying on Sunday in an attack that's being treated as terrorism.

Catalan leader declares victory in statehood bid [CLIPS]

Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont has declared victory in the Spanish
region's bid for statehood.


Turnout for the contentious vote has been registered at 42.3% but
officials have announced that 90% of people backed the region's
independence bid.


The referendum has been deemed illegal by Spain's constitutional court
and hundreds of people were injured at polling stations as police
tried to halt voting.


Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy called the vote a mockery and that
Catalans had been tricked into taking taking part in an illegal vote.

Puerto Rico struggles; Pres. Trump continues criticisms

U.S. President Donald Trump has continued to criticize journalists and local officials for suggesting that the American government is doing anything less than an amazing job responding to the destruction of Puerto Rico.

Trump: Tillerson "wasting his time" in talks with North Korea

President Trump has renewed his threat to launch a military strike against North Korea.
