Top White House aide underscores U.S. stance on Climate Change Agreement

INTRO:

A top White House advisor official has underscored President Donald
Trump's commitment to withdraw from the Climate Change Agreement -
unless the terms are renegotiated for a better deal for the US.

This comes after a Wall Street Journal report over the weekend that
the US planned to remain in the pact, 'under the right conditions.'

Hurricane Maria gathers strength

Hurricane Maria is now a category 4 storm, with winds of over 130 miles per hour / 215 kilometers per hour.

The particularly bad storm season has become a focus for U.S. President Donald Trump, who is posting on social media about his hurricane conference calls in the hours before his debut at the United Nations General Assembly.

Eighty arrests in St. Louis protests over police killing

Eighty people have been arrested, during a a third night of protests in St. Louis over the acquittal of a white police officer in the shooting death of a black man.

An audio recording of the killing showed the officer saying, in vulgar terms, that he was going to shoot the suspect -- before he fired five shots into his car, hitting him each time.

UK PM Theresa May meets Canadian PM on Post-Brexit Trade


UK Prime Minister Theresa May is in Canada to meet with the country's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.


The two have been discussing a number of global issues, but top of the agenda were post-brexit trade talks.


The EU and Canada are about to sign a new trade deal, called Ceta (Seat-ah) which will remove 98% of import duties and the UK Prime Minister is hoping to use the model as a blue print for a deal after the UK leaves the EU in 2019.

Wayne Rooney Driving Ban
