White House suggests James Comey should be investigated

The Trump administration is suggesting that James Comey, the former FBI Director, should be investigated.

The firing of James Comey prompted the U.S. Justice Department to bring Robert Mueller on as special prosecutor to investigate possible wrong doing by Trump insiders, with a focus on whether they colluded with the Russians.

Steve Bannon, the former Trump adviser, told CBS News' programme "60 minutes" that firing James Comey was the worst decision ever in political history.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders suggested that anyone suspected of criminal wrong-doing should be investigated to Hallie Jackson of NBC News.
