Kushner tries to restart Mideast peace process

American President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is talking to Israeli and Palestinian leaders about trying to restart the stalled Mideast Peace process.

Mr Kushner says President Trump is committed to a long-term peace, but as our Washington correspondent John Clarke reports, there's little chance of an immediate breakthrough.

Trump Campaign Team Had Discussed Meeting with Putin

Trump campaign officials were considering whether to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin last year.

The US President has faced days of mounting criticism, even from members of his own party, about his fitness for office.
