Trump criticises Obama over Russia inaction

US President Donald Trump says his predecessor Barack Obama "did nothing" about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US election.

His comments follow a report in the Washington Post that President Obama was told in early August about Kremlin attempts to influence the election.

President Trump recently called the Russia hacking story "a hoax", but now accuses Barack Obama of inaction.

US GDP to come in below Trump target

US GDP for the first quarter is likely to remain at just 1.2% growth, well below President Donald Trump's desired level.

The final reading showing how much the economy grew during the first three months of the year is published later this week.

North Korean officials say the death of an American college student held prisoner in the country is a mystery.

Otto Warmbier died soon after being returned to the US in a coma.

United States suspends Brazilian meat imports

Pres. Trump: 'Bothersome' Special Counsel and ex-FBI director 'very, very, good friends'

NASA launches world's lightest satellite built by Indian teen

A tiny satellite made using a 3-D printer has been successfully test launched by NASA.

The satellite was designed and created by an 18-year-old teenager from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The spacecraft is so small it can fit into one's palm.

UK Police confirm faulty fridge freezer started Grenfell fire

Police investigators looking into the fire at a tower block in London in which 79 people are thought to have died, say the blaze was caused by a faulty fridge freezer.


They've discovered that the fire then spread to the building's combustable cladding, while the building's insulation also failed safety tests.
