Trump tweets support for hard line on Qatar

US President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to express his support for the decision by Saudi Arabia and five other nations to cut ties with Qatar.

Earlier this week the Saudis as well as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, the Maldives and Yemen announced they were pulling their ambassadors from the tiny Gulf state over its alleged support for terrorists.

Women detail assault allegations at Bill Cosby trial

IS kill 163 people in a single day: UN

Last week in the Iraqi city of Mosul, the so-called Islamic State is
believed to have killed 163 people in a single day.

That's according to the United Nations who believe the group carried
out the attack to prevent civilians from fleeing their territory.

Police name third London Bridge attacker

The Metropolitan Police have named the third London Bridge attacker, after reports of his identity surfaced in Italian media,  as  22 year old Youssef Zaghba,  an Italian of Moroccan descent.

Italian newspapers say he was stopped by Italian authorities from traveling to Syria last year and reported to British intelligence services.  From London, Catherine Drew reports.

London police defend not pursuing London Bridge attacker

The Metropolitcan police force has defended not pursuing an inquiry into one of the London Bridge attackers two years ago,  saying there had been no evidence that 27 year old Khuram Butt had been planning an attack. 

He was the only one of the three attackers that killed 7 people and injured many more that had been known to police and intelligence services.    From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Australian police confirm deadly siege to be terror attack

Australian police have confirmed that a siege which left two people dead and three officers injured - was a terrorist attack.

German cabinet to vote on pulling troops from Turkey

India's rebuttal to Trump on Paris Climate Accord

India has rejected US President Donald Trump's allegation that New Delhi signed the Paris climate agreement to get 'billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid.'

While pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord last week, Trump accused India of signing the deal only on the promise of funding from developed countries.
