New Macedonian government endorsed breaking 6 month political deadlock

The 6 month political deadlock in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has been broken with the parliament endorsing a new government.

The Macedonian president had blocked the incoming coalition saying it would give too many rights to ethnic Albanians in the country.

Nuclear deal is expected as Russia's Putin hosts India's Modi in St Petersburg

With US Expected to Pull Out of Paris Agreement, EU and China to Unite on Climate Change

Over the next two days the European Union and China are expected to unite on fighting climate change, while US President Donald Trump is reportedly going to pull out of the Paris Agreement.

Trump confirms timing of climate change decision

U.S. President Trump says he'll unveil his decision on whether to pull
out of the Paris climate change accord on Thursday.

Several days ago at the G7 meeting of rich nations he failed to join

US, Vietnam sign billions in trade deals

US President Donald Trump met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (like "book") at the White House on Wednesday, where both leaders signed billions of dollars in trade deals.


Prime Minister Nguyen is the first Southeast Asian leader visiting the White House, at a time when both sides hope to deepen relations over economic and security issues.

White House refuses to answer further questions on Trump/Russia

The White House says it won't answer any more press questions about possible ties between Donald Trump's election campaign last year and the Russians.


A spokesman that from here on out, all inquiries must be directed to the President's lawyer.

House Committee subpoenas Michael Flynn, Trump attorney

The U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee has approved two subpoenas, one for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and the other for Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen.

In contrast, according to reports, former FBI Director James Comey is "happy to cooperate" with requests for public testimony on the Russia investigation and possible interference by President Trump.

Environmentalists react to potential US withdrawal from Paris climate change deal


As reports are breaking in the US media that President Donald Trump could pull his country out of the Paris Climate Change deal this week,

Environmental experts in Washington DC were quick to condemn the potential decision to end US involvement.

Malaysia Airlines flight returned to Melbourne Airport following bomb threat

A Malaysia Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing at
Melbourne Airport less than 30 minutes into a flight after a Canberra
resident tried to enter the cockpit, claiming to have explosives.
Flight MH128 from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur returned to Melbourne
shortly after takeoff after the captain was alerted by a cabin crew of a
passenger attempting to enter the cockpit.
The airline stressed that at no point was the aircraft hijacked.

Hillary Clinton continues blame investigation for election loss

Hillary Clinton is continuning to blame former FBI Director James Comey and the investigation into her use of private email server while she was U.S. Secretary of State for why she is not President of the United States today.

As the investigation into possible Russian interference in the American election continues, Hillary Clinton herself has been speaking out more about why she would have made a better president and how she lost, rarely discussing her own decisions which may have contributed to her loss.

Confusion remains over President's ill-spelled tweet

Social media is having a field day with the latest round of ill-spelled tweets from U.S. President Donald Trump, including one challenging twitter followers to determine the meaning of the word "covfefe."

Some have noted, it's about the only thing that has united Americans, their baffled response to the President's post.

With no dictionary definition for the word, some are questioning why the president was posting on social media in the middle of the night, and why no one is reviewing what he writes on Twitter.

Decision on climate change 'very soon' - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump is promising that he'll make a decision on whether the U.S. will remain a member of the Paris agreement on climate change.

Earlier, U.S. officiasl told reporters that President Trump had decided to leave the global agreement, only to have the American president confuse matters with a tweet that his decision would be coming, in the next few days.

Following a photo op in the Oval Office with Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and with White House staffers trying to shout down reporters' questions, President Trump would only say his decision was coming soon and he's talked to lots of people.

UN chief expresses "abhorrence" at Kabul bombing

The United Nations Secretary General has condemned the bomb attack in
Afghanistan's capital Kabul, in which at least 90 people were killed
and 400 injured.

NASA to launch historic probe to the Sun

NASA has revealed details of an unprecedented mission to the sun.

The US space agency says it will launch a groundbreaking probe next year to explore our nearest star's outer atmosphere.

It's expected to orbit within four million miles of the sun's surface exposing it to more radiation than any other spacecraft in history.
