Lawmakers expect special counsel to turn uncomfortable facts

Congressional lawmakers are coming to terms with the reality that the probe by newly appointed special counsel Robert Mueller will take time and will uncover uncomfortable truths.

For the second day, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein briefed lawmakers, this time addressing the U.S. House of Representatives.

U.S. President Donald Trump has flatly denied there was any collusion between his team and Russia and denied that he fired James Comey as FBI Director for any reason other than incompetence.

Republican Representative Darryl Issa says however, Robert Muller's investigation will inevitably turn over rocks that no one wanted him to look under.

London police say if he steps out, they'll still arrest him on the lesser charge of failing to surrender to a court.

Sweden's Chief Prosecutor Marianne NY—speaking through an English translator—says with Mr. Assange held up in the embassy the investigation could not move forward.
