Russian Pres. Putin says he has nothing to do with Comey firing

Russian President Vladimir Putin says President Trump is doing what he needs to do as President of the United States, saying he has nothing to do with the firing of James Comey as FBI Director.

The White House insists James Comey was fired for mishandling the investigation into  Hillary Clinton's private email server, but Congressional sources have confirmed he wanted more resources to pursue the Russia investigation.

CBS News' Eliza Palmer convinced the Russian President and his translator to comment rink side before a hockey game.

Congressional sources are telling the New York Times and other newspapers, then FBI Director James Comey asked for additional funds to further pursue the investigation into Russian meddling in 2016 American elections.

Snap Inc. to post first earnings since public debut

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says that U.S. President Donald Trump wants to sort out  a business-like relationship between Washington and Moscow.

His visit raised eyebrows, as it came just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey and many asked what would be the future of invesigations into Russia's meddling in the 2016 American elections.

At the Russian embassy, Foreign Minister Lavrov said the two sides agreed there are obstacles.

Democrats in Washington are renewing their call for a Special Prosecutor to investigate alleged collusion between the Trump campaign team and the Russians during last year's Presidential election.

The reason given for the action was that James Comey had mishandled the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of her person email server.

The Trump administration says the decision was made because of Mr. Comey's handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's email.
