Major US Tech Companies Reported as Victims of $100 Million Email Fraud

US prosecutors have charged a Lithuanian man with defrauding two US based companies out of more than 100 million dollars. Officials say he engaged in a growing type of fraud using emails targeted at companies that work with foreign suppliers or regularly make wire transfers.

400,000 Iraqi Civilians Trapped In Mosul

The United Nations Refugee Agency says around 400,000 civilians are trapped in the old city of western Mosul, which is still held by the so-called Islamic State group, amid an Iraqi offensive to retake it.

The UN says many people there fear fleeing the city because of snipers and landmines, but are running short of food and basic necessities.

Increased scrutiny for US visa applicants

The U.S. State Department is urging increased scrutiny for U.S. visa
applicants, especially of their social media accounts.

Reuters obtained four cables with instructions from U.S. Secretary of
State Tillerson on how the limits on immigration would be implemented
under the controversial and currently blocked executive orders.

Metropolitan Police name suspected London attacker



London police have named the man suspected of carrying out the terror attack near the UK Parliament as 52 year old Khaleed Masood.


British-born Masood had been known to MI5, but was described as being on the periphery of police investigations.

Black man murdered in New York by white US veteran in suspected hate crime

Man in Antwerp Tries to Drive Through Crowd Day After Westminster Attack

Belgian police have arrested a suspect accused of trying to drive a car at high speeds into a crowd on the main shopping street in Antwerp. 

This attack comes less than 24 hours after a terrorist drove a car into pedestrians on London's Westminster Bridge.

Trump officials may have coordinated with Russians - CNN

The FBI is reviewing information collected that indicates, Trump campaign officials were coordinating with Russians on when to release information damaging to the Clinton campaign, CNN reports.

Prime Minister Theresa May has said a terror attack on Westminster was an attempt to silence democracy, a attempt which she said had failed. 

Mrs May gave a statement to the Parliament which reconvened Thursday as a show of defiance that London would not give in to terror.    She said the attacker was known to police and had been investigated in the past for his connection with Islamist extremism.

Police chief urges Londoners to talk to police about terror concerns

Police in London have appealed for the public's help in keeping the city safe following Wednesday's terror attack. 

It comes as tributes have been paid to PC Keith Palmer and the other victims of Wednesday's terror attacks in Westminster.    Silences have been held both in Parliament, which reconvened Thursday and outside the headquarters of Scotland Yard. 

Police continue to investigate whether the attacker who killed 3 others before being shot himself was working alone.   Armed raids on six addresses in London, Birmingham and elsewhere resulted in the arrest of seven people. 

Acting Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police,  Craig Mackey who witnessed some of the events himself, said the police need the help of the public.
