MAY: UK AND US CAN LEAD THE WORLD TOGETHER

UK Prime Minister Theresa May says Britain and the US can once again lead the world together and renew their so-called special relationship.

She's beginning a trip to the US which will see her address Republican leaders in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Mrs May will become the first foreign leader to meet with President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday.

And she's taking a message to the US that Britain wants to improve ties with 'old friends' as it leaves the EU.

Russia criticize Britain’s warship escort

Russia's Defense Ministry has criticized Britain's decision to escort
their warships traveling through the English channel.

The vessels are traveling back to Russia from Syria after what British

Trump Mandates Review of EPA studies, data

Trump ‘Considering Reducing US Funding to UN’

US President Donald Trump is preparing executive orders that would cut American funding to the United Nations, according to reports in the New York Times.

The paper cites White House officials who say the order would also repeal some multilateral treaties, potentially including some on climate change.

Dow Closes Above 20,000 Mark For First Time Ever

UN condemns Somalia hotel attack, 28 dead

The United Nations has condemned the attack on a hotel in the Somali
capital, Mogadishu, which has reportedly left at least 28 people dead.

Al-Shabab militants attacked the front gates of the compound before
setting off a car bomb when ambulances arrived to help the injured.

British warship escorts Russian counterpart through UK waters

A British warship and three fighter planes are escorting a Russian aircraft carrier through  British waters as they return to Russia from Syria.
