Trump slams Obamacare rate hikes during battleground speech

Just one week from the election Donald Trump is taking aim at the Affordable Healthcare Act also known as Obamacare.

The White House predicts that on average monthly insurance premiums will jump up 25 percent next year.

UN migrant rights expert visiting Australia, Nauru on fact-finding mission

The UN Human Rights Council expert on migrant rights is making his first visit to Australia to assess the country's controversial migration policies.

Polls Show Major Shift Towards Trump

New national polling data shows Donald Trump pulling ahead of Hillary Clinton with just a week left of campaigning. 

A  survey conducted jointly by the Washington Post and ABC News - along with a joint LA Times/USC poll see Trump moving ahead of Clinton.

The two polls were conducted after the FBI said it would look at fresh  evidence related to Hillary Clinton's use of her private email to send classified  information.

China criticizes Donald Trump's plan to reject climate change accord

Argentina: Former President Cristina Fernandez appears in court


Argentina's former President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner has testified in federal court, as part of an investigation into alleged corruption during her time in office, surrounding the granting of public works contracts.

Moscow says Syria peace talks delayed indefinitely

UN warn all sides in Syria may be committing war crimes

The United Nations has warned that all sides fighting in the Syrian
city of Aleppo may be committing war crimes.

Last week rebel fighters launched a counter-offensive against
pro-government forces and the UN estimate that as many as 275,000
civilians remain trapped in besieged eastern Aleppo.

Trump moves into lead in post-FBI national polls

Donald Trump now leads Hillary Clinton in the latest US election polls published just one week before Election day.

Iraqi Forces Fighting On Edges of Mosul

Iraqi forces, backed by US-led coalition airstrikes, are nearing the eastern outskirts of the city of Mosul, aiming to drive out Islamic State militants based there.

British muslim women fear investigation of Sharia courts an attempt to end them

UK DOUBLES CYBER-SECURITY FUNDING

The UK is more than doubling its funding to fight against cyber-attacks.

A new cyber security strategy is being set out by the British government, along with £1.9bn ($2.3bn) in funding for it over five years.

National infrastructure will receive extra protection, but the UK is also promising to take the fight to cyber-attackers and retaliate where necessary.

Several recent high-profile hacks - such as that of the World Doping Agency - have been linked by US and UK officials to Russia.
