Donald Trump has used the second US presidential debate in St Louis to attack Hillary Clinton over allegations of abuse by her husband.

It came after Mr Trump was questioned about a video released on Friday which has him on tape bragging about groping women.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton wouldn't directly address Donald Trump's comments about her husband.

But she did say her Republican rival is unfit to be US President.

Mr. Trump was speaking to the host of a celebrity TV show and does not appear to have known his remarks were being recorded.

Matthew hits Florida, threatens other states

Hurricane Matthew is continuing to push north after raking parts of the Florida coast with winds of up to 120 miles per hour [200 kph].

UN Security Council disagree over Syria resolution

The United Nations Security Council has clashed over a new draft
resolution for Syria aimed at ending the bombardment of Aleppo.

Russia has disagreed with the wording of a French draft resolution
which proposes grounding all war planes over the city, including
Russian jets.

The UN envoy for Syria, briefing the Council, put forward his own
proposal - to lead rebels out of the city if Russia and the Syrian
government agree to stop the shelling.

Russian Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin said if the French
resolution came to a vote not everyone on the Council would be in
agreement.
