Australian cricketer Max Walker dead at 68 from skin cancer

Former Australian test cricketer Max Walker was larger than life. And his death proved it.
Tributes far and wide for the universally-loved cricketer, who has died aged 68, carried a common theme.
Everybody's mate, who will be sadly missed.
Walker passed away on Wednesday after a fight with skin cancer.

At Florida rally, Donald Trump says Clinton is a "candidate of yesterday"

At a rally in Florida -- his first since going head-to-head with
rival Hillary Clinton -- Donald Trump wasted no time declaring
himself the winner of Monday's first televised Presidential debate.

Elon Musk Plans to Colonize Mars


Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has revealed his plans to colonize Mars using his space transport company Space X. Speaking at the International Astronautical Congress in Guadalajara he said a crewed mission to Mars could happen in 10 years, if things go very well. 

As Technology Correspondent Rachel Silverman reports, Musk’s speech was streamed online and watched by more than 100 thousand people.

Sam Allardyce has stepped down as England football manager after a newspaper sting in which he appeared to explain how to get around Football Association transfer rules.

Trump talks Venezuela, Cuba in post-debate appearance

With questions swirling about whether he'll participate in the upcoming debates, Donald Trump returned to the campaign trail, talking about Venezuela and Cuba during an appearance in Miami.

Samsung smartphone recall

Samsung says more than half of customers have brought back their
Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, after a recall.

Colombia: Government and the FARC sign peace deal


Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and the FARC rebel leader known as Timochenko have signed a peace deal that will end the country's decades long civil war.
