ENGLAND MANAGER ALLARDYCE STEPS DOWN

Sam Allardyce has stepped down as England football manager after a newspaper sting in which he appeared to explain how to get around Football Association transfer rules.

He also reportedly agreed a lucrative speaking deal with reporters from the Telegraph posing as an Asian investment group.

Big Sam, as he's known in the game, held showdown talks with FA bosses at Wembley on Tuesday.

The FA says his conduct was 'inappropriate' and has appointed England Under 21 boss Gareth Southgate as caretaker manager of the senior squad.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt reports.

Trump talks Venezuela, Cuba in post-debate appearance

With questions swirling about whether he'll participate in the upcoming debates, Donald Trump returned to the campaign trail, talking about Venezuela and Cuba during an appearance in Miami.

Venezuela is struggling with an imploding economy as low crude oil prices impact exports, while the Republicans have continued to criticize the U.S. re-opening relations with Cuba.

Noting that his golf course, Doral, is in a heavily Venezuelan neighborhood of Miami, Donald Trump suggested he'd make better deals on Venezuela and Cuba.
