Long Classified Section of 9/11 Inquiry Made Public

The US House Intelligence Committee has made public most of a long-classified section of a 2002 congressional inquiry into the 9/11 attacks. 

That section comprises 28 pages that discuss the alleged role of Saudi Arabia in the attacks. 

As US Correspondent Rachel Silverman reports, those 28 pages have spent years locked up in a secure room in the basement of the US Capitol.

Obama: "We will not relent" in the face of Nice attack

84 dead, including 10 children, in Nice attack

The lead prosecutor in France has confirmed 84 are dead, including 10 children, and more than 200 injured after a lorry barrelled down the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France.

The terrorist attack happened as the annual Bastille Day fireworks completed.

Prosecutor Francois Molins said the death toll may change because some people are very badly injured.

Newt Gingrich calls for screenings, deportations of Muslims

The man who drove a truck into a crowd of people in the French city of Nice has been identified by French police sources.

At least 84 people have died in the Bastille Day attack carried out by 31 year old Franco-Tunisian man Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel.

French President Francois Hollande says military action in Syria and Iraq will be intensified after the attack in Nice which has killed at least 84.

President Hollande also says a state of emergency which was due to expire on the 26th July will be extended for three months.

Terrorism expert Dr David Lowe says the incident shouldn't lead to panicked decisions.
