President Obama seeks to unite Americans at town hall event

US President Barack Obama has urged police and black communities to come together after an increase in racial tensions in the United States.

Speaking at an ABC News town hall event, President Obama said he didn't want to see a generation of young people growing up with mistrust of the police.
