FBI Dir. defends Hillary Clinton email investigation



FBI Director James Comey says there is no evidence that Hillary Clinton lied to FBI agents investigating her email scandal.

During a hearing Thursday, Mr Comey told Republican lawmakers that Mrs Clinton handled sensitive emails with "great carelessness" when she was Secretary of State but said no laws were broken.

Top US investment banks to support London finance centre post-Brexit

Four major US banks have said they will help London remain a strong
financial centre. This comes after bankers from JPMorgan, Goldman

Britain's new PM will be a woman after Conservative leadership vote

Britain's next Prime Minister will be a woman after MPs voting in the Conservative Party leadership race eliminated the final man from the ballot. 

Home Secretary Theresa May and Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom will be the choice for 150 000 Conservative members. 

The new party leader and Prime Minister is due to be revealed by September 9th.

Theresa May was on the REMAIN side in Britain's EU referendum, while Andrea Leadsom campaigned for Brexit.

Theresa May, who won the support of around two thirds of her party's MPs,  said she was delighted with the result.

Four Barclays traders receive prison sentences for Libor rigging

Four former bankers who were found guilty of having rigged global benchmark interest rates have been sentenced to jail by a court in London.

Former celeb publicist cleared of indecent assault

The former celebrity publicist Max Clifford has been cleared by a court of indecently assaulting a 17-year-old girl...

The 73-year-old - who had always denied the allegation - is currently serving an eight year prison sentence for a number of indecent assaults.

John Kerry reassures Ukraine of US support, on Kiev visit

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Kiev, where he's due to meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to discuss the conflict in the east of the country.

This comes a day ahead of a NATO summit in Warsaw where the military alliance is due to make decisions on how to best defend Eastern Europe from possible Russian aggression.

During a routine traffic stop, police in Minnesota shot Philando Castile, an African-American man who later died at hospital.

Final two Tory Leadership candidates to be decided

The final two politicians to compete for the role of UK Prime Minister and Conservative leader is being decided.

Tory Members of Parliament will take part in a second ballot, which will result in two candidates being left for Conservative grass roots members to choose from.
